Welcome to my website. Thank you for taking time out of your busy day to spend some of your time here with me. I am Ray Amanat and I wear many hats. If you are here, then chances are, you are in need of my service(s). I am a public speaker and truly enjoy educating others. I host a podcast called the Ray Amanat Show and also host an amazing networking group called USBH or U Should Be Here which you can find more information about by clicking here or by clicking the USBH Tab in the menu above.

I teach others to defend themselves in potentially harmful situations. I also am an Author of the Children’s book Marshy the Martian. So as you can see I do alot of different things but all of these things have one thing in common… People! I love helping and educating others. So now that you know a little bit more about your host, let me pose the question to you once more, how may I help you today?

Ray Amanat has been in the Martial Arts and Fitness industry since he began training in1981. He started teaching beginner classes in Martial Arts as a Green Belt at the age of 16 and was managing and teaching all the classes as a Brown Belt at the age of 18. Once he obtained his Black Belt at the age of 20, Ray bought out his instructor and was now a business owner. He grew his school in partnership with the local Community College offering Karate for Kids Beginning, Women’s Self-Defense, and later started his Aerobic Kickboxing fitness program.

Ray has been a public speaker since 1986. He started working with the St. Ann police department D.A.R.E. officer by going to schools talking about self-defense against bullies. He then began a pilot program called C.R.A.M. (Conflict Resolution & Anger Management) for the St. Louis Special School District specifically for kids with emotional and behavioral problems.

Ray Amanat became a published author with Hugo House Publishing in 2010 with his first book, “Bully, Victim, or Hero?”- How to assert yourself without being a target for bullying or violence. This was an autobiography of Ray’s journey from being bullied throughout his childhood in school and abused at home, to becoming the bully after he started his martial arts training and finally becoming his own Hero breaking down the differences of being passive, aggressive, and assertive. This book was mainly for teenagers, parents, and teachers to all get on the same page in discussing the problems these young adults go through at their age.

This is a conservative talk show where Ray discusses current events in the news locally in his state of Florida and in National news. He also interviews local business owners, giving them a platform to promote their business and giving you, the viewer, the opportunity to become a more informed consumer.
